Development of the aesthetic sensibility and art education.

The Gruppo di studio interdisciplinare arte e psicologia (The Interdisciplinary Art and Psychology Study Group) was formed with the aim of making scientific contributions to an integrated and multidimensional reading of the work of art, including all epochs, styles and artists.
The reading perspective it intends to adopt is psychodynamic (from Freud, to Kriss, to Segal to Meltzer, Bion et al.), but does not exclude other readings that are presented with motives founded on solid artistic, historical and social bases.
The offering of a point of convergence of various branches of diverse knowledge and professions, felicitously joining ratio and empathy, investigating into the mechanisms of genesis and fruition, may allow for the revisiting and reliving of the artistic universe as a dimension created and renewed by man in motion, in his past and present in which we are participants.
